SOUL AND MIND.

INDWELL:
TO BE PERMANENTLY PRESENT IN

strategy

We are a movement for being well. We work at the intersections of program strategy and wellness, so our services come in two parts: strategy partnerships, where we provide support for bringing your ideas for change to life, and well-spaces, where we provide resources to support personal and community shifts for participating in life. You'll notice a common theme here: more life.

*OUR CONCEPT "DANCE IN THE GRAYS" IS INSPIRED BY JOAN MORGAN'S BOOK, WHEN CHICKENHEADS COME HOME TO ROOST.

WE TAKE A HOLISTIC APPROACH TO PARTNER WITH INDIVIDUALS, COMMUNITIES, AND TEAMS DEVELOPING INITIATIVES FOR CHANGE. WE ARE A VISIONING PARTNER, AND OUR GOAL IS TO ACCOMPANY YOU TOWARDS A FELT IMPACT. WE DANCE IN THE GRAYS* AND STRIVE (WILLINGLY STRUGGLE) TO LIVE THAT OUT ALONGSIDE YOU.

OUR COLLABORATIVE FRAMEWORKS

Magic happens when we gather to create new worlds. Inspired by black feminist spaces, such as the Combahee River Collective, we seek to identify threads that unite us for movement.

RAISING CONSCIOUSNESS

The frameworks from which we create are rooted in histories that distanced people from their own sense of self-actualization, so we build from the reclamation of black origins and diasporic journeying.

BLACK + DIASPORIC IMAGINATION

Change-work can disembody us from ourselves and each other. We believe it is necessary to keep the mind, body, and spirit in communion with one another.

EMBODIMENT

OUR COLLABORATIVE FRAMEWORKS

In the process of change, we lose parts of what we knew to be true. we hold this as the moment for conscious choice AROUND what we want to create for our lives and work.

INTENTIONAL UNLEARNING

Inspired by the cultural studies work of Stuart Hall, we hold that we are all meaning-making beings, and what we have learned through formal and informal institutions (from home to schools and the workplace to popular culture) form our belief systems.
