BLACK + DIASPORIC
IMAGINATION

COLLABORATIVE FRAMEWORKS

Magic happens when we gather to create new worlds. Inspired by black feminist spaces, such as the Combahee River Collective, we seek to identify threads that unite us for movement.

RAISING CONSCIOUSNESS

The frameworks from which we create are rooted in histories that distanced people from their own sense of self-actualization, so we build from the reclamation of black origins and diasporic journeying.

BLACK + DIASPORIC IMAGINATION

Change-work can disembody us from ourselves and each other. We believe it is necessary to keep the mind, body, and spirit in communion with one another.

EMBODIMENT

COLLABORATIVE FRAMEWORKS

In the process of change, we lose parts of what we knew to be true. we hold this as the moment for conscious choice AROUND what we want to create for our lives and work.

INTENTIONAL UNLEARNING

Inspired by the cultural studies work of Stuart Hall, we hold that we are all meaning-making beings, and what we have learned through formal and informal institutions (from home to schools and the workplace to popular culture) form our belief systems.

Tiffany Curtis (she/her) has over 12 years of experience as a facilitator and designer in education nonprofit, leadership development, and social equity. With a deep passion to re-imagine our relational connections, her visions for change emerged from her own identity as a returned-generation* Liberian-American - a country with interwoven realities of sociocultural dissonance. This identity motivates her curiosity about what it takes for people to shift, release, and change. To anchor her work, she embraces a multi-modal approach through her studies as a full-spectrum doula, certified professional coach, yoga teacher, and Usui Reiki. Forming Indwell Collaborative culminates her longstanding vision for all to feel a true sense of belonging.
